Utilising two decades of experience in overseeing end-to-end sales, delivery and management of fulfilment and delivery models, including On-site, Managed Service and RPO services, David – Chief Operating Officer for Impellam UK and Europe – is at the heart of driving growth, innovation, and excellence across our STEM portfolio.

Proudly leading market-leading brands within the group, including Lorien – Specialists in Technology, Digital and Professional recruitment; Carbon60 – experts in Project Engineering and Technical Workforce solutions; and SRG – leaders in Life Sciences, Clinical, and Engineering recruitment, David’s focus is on creating scalable, unified models, embedding best practices, and ensuring exceptional experiences for clients, candidates, and contractors.

David is passionate about STEM talent, believing it’s what sets businesses apart and helps customers thrive in a competitive market. It is his goal to not only connect great people with meaningful opportunities but also ensure that every client and candidate gets to experience and benefit from the best that Impellam’s STEM experts have to offer.

James has enjoyed a long, successful career in Engineering & Manufacturing recruitment – an industry he has a passion and love for – since 1999.

He joined Carbon60 in 2011 as Permanent Recruitment Manager and has held various senior roles since. Now the Operations Director for our Engineering division, James heads up a fantastic team whose work has seen them win a variety of awards in recent years, including Manager of the Year 2019, Team of the Year 2018, Highest Perm Biller 2018, 2019 & 2020, Apprentice of the Year 2019.

Since beginning his career in 1998 as a Resourcer for a small independent technical recruitment agency, Andrew has worked and grown in several key roles, from regional sales to branch, and then account, and even gained valuable experience as a business owner. 

Andrew joined us at Carbon60 in 2013 and was soon promoted to Head of Key Accounts, Client Solutions and Sales, taking on the challenge of a strategic decision to bring these 3 workstreams together to maximise the opportunities we have with our clients at each stage in their journey.
