Carbon60 have an exciting opportunity with a rapidly expanding specialist water treatment company based in Cheddar, Somerset for a Graduate Project Design Engineer. The role involves supporting the project engineering team on site with mechanical designs critical for the industrial water treatment systems.
Job description:
- Project Design Engineer working full time on site at a brand-new water treatment facility in Cheddar, Somerset
- SolidWorks use for development of mechanical GA and 3D layout drawings
- AutoCAD or similar CAD software use for producing P&IDs, 2D plant layout schematics
- Supporting the project engineering team throughout the entire project life-cycle
- Working with industrial water treatment plant equipment including valves and pipework
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering (or other relevant engineering disciplines)
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks
- Proficient in CAD (preferably AutoCAD)
- Strong knowledge of Engineering Principles
- Understanding of process chemistry and fluid dynamics is desirable
- Excellent IT Skills
- Full valid UK Driving Licence
The ideal candidate will be keen to develop their engineering knowledge in an exciting evolving sector with the encouraging support of specialists in the water treatment industry.
