Location - Cheshire
Start Date - ASAP
Duration - 6 Months
Rates - £425 per day outside IR35
Hours: 07.00 to 17.00. Monday to Friday. Must be flexible to work weekends when required.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our clients team in the Cheshire area, who is able to start very quickly. The client is seeking to hold interviews by 18th March at the latest.
6 months contact and ideally someone from large-scale energy/power projects. 95% of the role will be in the field.
Key responsibilities & accountabilities
- Provide onsite supervision and guidance to the construction team during project execution.
- Identify potential risks and uncertainties related to electrical projects and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain clear and open communication with client consultant, contractors, architect engineer, engineering team, and regulatory authorities.
- Promote energy-efficient and sustainable practices in electrical engineering projects.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Work with the project management team to align electrical engineering activities with project schedules and milestones.
- Attending meetings to discuss progress and recommendations for improving productivity
- Writing daily reports on progress and manpower distribution
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Ideally a bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering
- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Ideally 3+ years of proven experience in electrical engineering supervisory role.
