TEMP Driver

Carbon60 is looking for a TEMP Driver to carry out a few weeks worth of work for a client of ours based in Swansea. Our client is a large engineering company who have over 170 sites around the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for someone from the 14th April 2025 - 2nd May 2025 (Holiday Cover)

Main duties & responsibilities:

• When on-site this role is based in the stores area working alongside the distribution team-based upstairs
• Sign for and check deliveries on arrival to site
• Allocate deliveries to the correct area in the stores, provide necessary documentation to the distribution team to process goods in/ good out
• Drive company transit van to and from customer sites adhering to H&S standards
• Ensuring deliveries are provided to the customer in the same condition they were loaded
• Completing deliveries to customer sites
• Utilise excellent customer service skills when liaising with customer/stakeholders delivering goods to sites
• Complete necessary documentation for deliveries with customers
• Unloading deliveries to customers as required

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:

• Active full UK driving license required
• Previous van driving/delivery experience essential
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must provide own safety boots for the role
