Shift Pattern/ Hours : PART-TIME Monday & Wednesday 08:00 to 17:00, Tuesday 3,7 hours
Total: 18.50 hours per week
Salary: £18.72 per hour
The role:
Manage the senior operational provision for the School Travel Service and junior staff to support service delivery.
What you will be responsible for:
- Provide safe, efficient, and effective school travel services for children and persons from 5-25 years of age,
- Lead the planning and daily management of effective travel arrangements,
- Take a lead for maintaining records in the school travel database
- Answer enquiries, in particular more complex enquiries escalations, and manage issues including timings, amendments, cancellations, client behaviour, driver behaviour, complaints, incidents/accidents, safeguarding issues etc. liaising with internal/external stakeholders as appropriate.
- On a rota basis, provide AM and PM office cover to support the early morning and late afternoon travel arrangements.
Requirements:
- Experience of operational school travel services, or similar, working with a range of suppliers and delivery partners.
- Problem solving skills working in pressured environments.
- Records management and maintenance of databases.
- Small team management, including recruitment, goal setting and performance review.
- Experience of service delivery in accordance with service level agreements and/or customer service standards.
- Excellent communications skills with internal and external stakeholders
