The Quality Engineer Role

Rate: £30PH

Duration: 6-months

Location: Bolton

As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for providing frontline support to the Manufacturing teams. Your key duties will include:

• Managing non-conformance issues, including administration and data analysis
• Implementing and verifying permanent corrective actions
• Collating business KPIs and communicating findings at all levels
• Facilitating Practical Problem Solving activities and determining root causes
• Supporting the successful transfer of new products into manufacturing
• Managing customer concerns and escapes, liaising with international facilities
• Interfacing with the wider Quality teams to share data and drive improvements

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Minimum HNC/HND in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and drive improvements
• Strong Practical Problem Solving skills and the confidence to lead improvement activities
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and monitor multiple tasks
• Self-motivated with a determination to deliver results despite obstacles
